Through painting, I explore how altered states of consciousness, symbolist languages and perception can be translated into an image that speaks directly to the subconscious to invite remembrance.
It continues the work begun by visionary women artists such as Emma Kunz, Agnes Martin and Hilma af Klint. I am influenced by symbolist languages, jungian psychology and esoteric traditions to create work that is an offering to the subconscious mind.
During a time in history full of technological distractions and externalized experiences, my work recenters inner stillness as an anchor and an authoritative source of knowledge and discernment.
